Vintage Rare NIKE Zoom JASARI + TRACK Distance SPIKES Bowerman Prefontaine US 11.5.
Extremely hard to find track spike. Permanent spike plate. Excellent worn condition. Spike plate still sharp. Tags still clean. Includes Nike T&F spike bag.
These professional distance spikes were and are the most storied of the early Nike Oregon Bowerman series from late 1990’s and early 00’s. These were the lightest of the light at 3.5-4.0oz. Best for 800M-5000M.
This black and University of Oregon “lightning lime” swoosh colorway was not readily available (like the red/green yellow colorway) in retail, and only sold at some flagship Nike stores. It was also given to professional Nike runners and sponsored collegiate teams like the Ducks. These shoes came from a former Oregon runner and have notched some laps at Hayward. They run glove-like but true to size.
