The WINNER of this "kentuckyrebel" AUCTION will receive ONE (1) 100% original, RARE, and vintage "BEST SONGS" music magazine / NEWSPAPER / piece of sheet music--as published by CHARLTON PUBLICATIONS February 1970--featuring the WORDS (repeat... WORDS; NO MUSIC... only the WORDS) to the BEST SONGS of the day; and SPOTLIGHTING the following ACTS and / or ARTISTS:
JOHNNY CASH, PETULA CLARK, the FIFTH DIMENSION, the GRASS ROOTS--these being the FOUR (4) ACTS and / or ARTISTS who are PICTURED on the FRONT COVER--
Along with the BOX TOPS, DELANEY & BONNIE, ARETHA FRANKLIN, GLADYS KNIGHT & THE PIPS, the IMPRESSIONS, KALEIDOSCOPE, the LETTERMEN, DUSTY SPRINGFIELD, and the TEMPTATIONS; with all of the aforementioned ACTS and / or ARTISTS also being PICTURED on inside pages with approximately a HALF (1/2) PAGE feature ARTICLE written for EACH of them!
ITEM measures approximately 8 1/4" x 11" inches and features SIXTEEN (16) PAGES completely INTACT and in AMAZING CONDITION for their age with NO SEAM SPLITS, TAPE, TEARS, or WRITING of any kind... save for correction at top of FRONT COVER where 1969 was crossed out and the correct year (1970) was written in! Item does show some natural aging of paper. Would FRAME quite NICELY either alone or with the other "BEST SONGS" I have listed on eBay this WEEKEND!
I hate attempting to GRADE my items anymore since so many sellers seem to abuse the old Goldmine system: adding a plethora of plusses with their own definitions of VG, EX, NM, etc. However, as my FEEDBACK STATES, I don't sell junk (since I, personally, don't like buying junk on eBay--or anywhere else, for that matter); and feel certain that this auction is SURE TO PLEASE the fellow ROCK 'N' ROLL COLLECTOR and / or SHEET MUSIC CONNOISSEUR (especially at the OPENING BID)!*
NOTE: This SHEET MUSIC related auction is only ONE AMONG MANY I'll be listing over the MANY MONTHS AHEAD; so put me on your FAVORITE SELLERS list, all you fellow ROCK 'N' ROLLERS!
*As both my eBay FEEDBACK and NOTES from HAPPY BIDDERS can attest, I tend to GRADE my items a bit HARSHLY; but would rather a WINNING BIDDER be pleasantly SURPRISED (as opposed to extremely disappointed) with any TRANSACTION.
I always COMBINE SHIPPING on multiple auctions, and prefer to ship items by PRIORITY MAIL (available if asked for; and, in the case of items SUCH AS THIS, can ship ALL THE MAGAZINES YOU WANT for the same Post Office price of .95), but will make concessions since MEDIA MAIL is so much more inexpensive when able to be used. And, in the case of ALL MEDIA ITEMS I have listed, I'll SHIP ALL THE BOOKS, CDs, DVDs, MAGAZINES, NEWSPAPERS, RECORDS, SHEET MUSIC, OR VIDEOS YOU CARE TO WIN for the low price of .00 MEDIA MAIL, with TRACKING, for all ITEMS PAID FOR IN A SINGLE TRANSACTION (meaning DON'T PAY 'TIL ALL OF THE AUCTIONS YOU'RE BIDDIN ON HAVE ENDED)!
WINNING BIDDERS within the United States need only CONTACT ME, or do a price edit during CHECKOUT, regarding alternate means of SHIPPING--although, living in the woods a half hour outside of town, I only get to the POST OFFICE once or twice a week to have HEAVIER or OVERSEAS-BOUND ITEMS weighed!
I gladly welcome OVERSEAS BIDDERS, but ask that they CONTACT ME as soon as possible after the AUCTION ENDS so I can find out the exact shipping rate on their auction items--SHIPPING OVERSEAS usually costing TWICE AS MUCH as it does within the States.
As this is an AUCTION--and not a DEPARTMENT STORE--I don't accept RETURNS; and, likewise, am not responsible for UNINSURED ITEMS (although, as my FEEDBACK notes, I'm known for my PACKING ABILITIES).
